For most of her life, Barbara has expressed her artistic nature through various avenues including oil painting, stained glass and custom wedding dress design and alteration. After some life changing events, Barbara decided to turn to her love for photography. She began by apprenticing for a professional studio in Colorado Springs. Later, Barbara moved to Fort Collins and started Colorado Concept Photography. Her personality and love for being with people made wedding photography a perfect fit. Her attention to detail, professionalism and non-obtrusive ways create a wonderful and pleasant experience for all parties involved.

To stay fresh and at the top of her photographic game, Barbara takes one day a week to photograph and enjoy Colorado. She can be found in Rocky Mountain National Park, the Poudre Canyon and around Fort Collins in search of refreshment and the perfect photograph.
